Active bass horn CH1 fulfulls MH Jazz sistem as inseparable part of the whole completely authentic and peculiar only to RingAudio. By its construction the subwoofer is a clasical conical horn. It has an internal amplifier and a digital crossover as integral parts of it.

Open Baffle Subwoofer – OBH1 ASYMMETRIC

Asymmetrical design of the open baffle in the form of the “H” with asymmetrical sides of the frame does not cause resonance of the room, while the lack of the cabinet gives it another important advantage in comparison with classical subwoofers: easier placement and synergy with electrostatics and highly sensitive speakers which  have very light membranes - for this reason they do not tolerate pressures of classical subs with slow impulse response. OBH1 has an amplifier with high damping factor and it can perfectly control the driver as well as, if needed, upraise the response of the subwoofer for a natural fall of 12 dB (which used to be one of the main reasons for abandonment of this work principle). Due to mathematical models and simulations available today and after deliberation and listening, a driver capable of completing the job with exceptional control and plausibility has been chosen.
